12/11/09 GIRLS JV SOCCER TEAM VS ARCHBISHOP MCCARTHY
Great job by everyone. With 4 missing starters and several injuries we changed up the normal line-up and everyone just stepped up and did a fantastic job. The other team was only able to score on us twice due to an awesome job by our keeper, Mara C., and our defense as well. One of those goals against us came from a powerful shot from far away that just came in over the top but just inside the net. Anyway, also thanks to several middle school players who stepped up to the challenge of this jv game, playing them in the mid-field gave us the speed we needed to win the balls. I am very proud of you girls! Final Score: HEAT - 0 / Archbishop - 2
12/09/09 HEAT JV GIRLS VS AMERICAN HERITAGE
With the loss of 3 of my starters and another starter injured, I brought up a few middle school girls. As usual we had our hands full and thankfully our defense was tough and worked hard under a lot of pressure.
Final Score: HEAT - 0 / American Heritage - 3

HEAT Middle School Girls vs W/A 1/06/10
What a great game today. I was extremely proud of the girls. The first time we played W/A they beat us 4-1 but this time we looked like a different team altogether. We dominated the majority of the game and had several shots that were just "off the target." W/A really only had a couple of scoring opportunities and they were right on. The score definitely did not reflect the great stuff happening on the field. Final Score: HEAT - 1 / W/A - 2
Goal scored by Bridgett C. (assisted by Mikela D.)
Our defense was rock solid with Leah W. as sweeper, Ally P. & Jenna E. took turns at left defense doing a tremendous job. With the absence of our right defender, Mikaela H., who injured her ankle in warm-ups, a special "kudos" goes to Cat C. who took her spot and did an incredible job. Also, Becca C., though tiny, was mighty at forward and gave W/A a run for their money. She was all over W/A's defense as they tried to clear the ball.
Great job girls! I am very proud of your efforts today! Love, Coach DeeDee
